Nuwara Eliya town offers everything as any other town does and more. It is unique climate, the atmosphere which some say typical English environment, the golf course, race course, horses, rose garden and British style houses and add up to the perfect vacation retreat, more than the foreigners. Warmest month is April to June. There are plenty hotels and restaurant. Staying in over night is a wonderful experience. You can enjoy with the fresh vegetables.
The golf club open in 1889 is worth visitors.
Horton plans is located just about 20 km from Nuwara Eliya. Most of the visitors walk up to the worlds end. A sudden end precipice which drops straight down about 900 meters with magnificent view of the plains below, the weather is change very often with to warning.

Yala part of the southern and all the eastern and northern boundaries lie along the Indian ocean.

Large numbers of important cultural ruins bear, testimony to earlier civilization and indicate that much of area was populated and well developed, with an irrigation system supplying water to the surrounding paddy fields including those Yala.
